G.P.A.(Greatest Poet Alive) aka James Gordon is the best ever!! He was born, raised, and resides in the beautiful city of Chicago .A huge fan of Batman, G.P.A. is known to the ladies as the Dark Knight of Poetry. He has a flair for the dramatic as displayed in movies (Animals and Persian Version) and tv shows(Chicago Fire, Chicago PD, Betrayal, Mind Games, G.P.A. is regarded as the most electrifying man in Poetry and the most dangerous man in storytelling.
1. What has been the toughest criticism given to you as an author? What has been the best compliment? The toughest criticism that I have received is that my writing is simple, not a lot of wordplay. The greatest compliment that I have received is my writing in Revenge of the Orgasm is similar to Lord Byron and the Songs of Solomon.
2. Is anything in your book based on real life experiences or purely all imagination? I can only write that which i experience. It is just fortunate that my life has a bit of fantasy in it.
3. Can you tell us about your upcoming releases? If you have any. Summer with Bobo(Here Comes the 6th Grade) is going to shut down the remainder of 2014 and will establish Bobo as a prominent cartoon character similar to Charlie Brown.
4. What do you like to do when you’re not writing? Love walking with Scooter the Beagle, hanging with my family, playing video games, and basking in the company of beautiful women.
5. What made you decide to write your first book? Was locked up and had been writing poems for fellow campers, so i decided to put them into a book, The Confessional Heart of a Man it was.
6. Do you have any strange writing habits? I like to drink Daisy Cutter Beer and Jamesons with a coke and a lime.
7. If you could cast your characters in a Hollywood adaptation of your book, who would play what characters? Let's take Revenge of the Orgasm . Lance Gross would play me, while the women in the book would be played by Sanaa Lathan, Taranji P. Henson, Kristen Bell,Toccara, and Kerry Washington
8. Who are the authors that inspire you? 50 Cent, Kobe Bryant, Derrick Rose, my Brother, Nikki Giovanni are authors and people that inspire me.
10. Is there anything you would like to say to your readers?G.P.A. has more to give you. Stay with him, and don't waver from the path.
