~About Us~

My name is Verna :) I am happily married and have four very wonderful and beautiful children. My kids are definitely my inspiration and the reason I breathe. I decided to start a book blog thanks to a blogger friend of mine, Amber. She gave me the idea since I have been reviewing the books I read, so I thought why not give it a try. My main reason for starting this blog is so I can show all the wonderful authors and their books as much love as I can. I just want to help them out and get their books out there for others to read and enjoy as much as I do. I started reading more last year when my friend Ashley recommended I read Fifty Shades of Grey by E.L. James. Yes, Christian Grey was the start of my new found book obsession and I love it. So, books are my passion now and I really enjoy getting to read a new book or discover a new author. Besides reading I also enjoy taking pictures, spending time with my friends & family, and watching movies.

My name is Randi and I am 25 years old, almost 26 my birthday is in December :)

I’ve been in school to get a teaching degree but have no idea what I really want to do with my life except read books and watch TV shows about Dead people walking around…and the people that fight them.

I have a dachshund, she’s black with a little bit of brown on her face and paws and her name is Jelly Bean, my niece named her.

I don’t have any children of my own, but I’ve always been very close with my nieces and nephews. In fact, for many years, most of their lives, I lived with them and helped my sister raise them until she got remarried.

If I could live anywhere I wanted it would be in Tennessee, close to Nashville but not right in the city. I’m pretty sure I’m addicted to music; I have it on most of the time and can’t drive without it. I tried once, it didn’t go well.

I don’t like to leave the house without my kindle or my cell phone, my phone is with me almost constantly, it is where I keep my music after all.

My favorite holiday is Christmas but my favorite season is the fall, even though here in Indiana where I’ve always lived fall only lasts about a day and half…I spend most of my time with my family, the two people that I’m the closest to are my sister and my father, but if I had to pick I would say my niece is my best friend. She’s ten years old, she’s a huge dork and she loves to read. She’s awesome and she’s not afraid to let people know it, and I want to be like her when I grow up.
