*****
Cocky Bastard is a romantic, thrilling, and passionate story that had me hooked from the very first page. I never wanted the book to end. It fully captured my book nerd heart and even the goat fainted its way into my heart.

Aubrey is a wonderful woman and I really enjoyed watching her grow with Chance. He made her forget everything and just live in the moment and have fun. Their meeting was so funny and they both had me laughing a time or two throughout the book. I loved that their connection was so simple and so unique, it was definitely a once in a lifetime kind of love that neither of them was willing to let go of or seen coming.

Chance can be my Cocky Bastard any day of the week. I automatically adored him. He is an intense, in your face character that speaks what comes to mind without thinking. He lays it all out there and loves to the fullest. I relished in his Australian accent. Yep he is an Aussie and will seize every book nerd’s attention. So prepare to find your next book boyfriend ladies.

I was broken by the end of Chance and Aubrey’s little adventure they had together. It was like in one swift move their love was put on hold. So prepare yourself for an emotional and sweet adventure that will have you begging these authors to give you a second Chance.

I give Cocky Bastard by Penelope Ward & Vi Keeland 5 out of 5 SECOND CHANCE STARS!

Blurb
He was someone who belonged in my wildest fantasies instead of a rest stop in the middle of Nebraska.
A sexy, cocky, Australian named Chance was the last person I expected to run into on my cross-country drive.
When my car broke down, we made a deal. Next thing I knew, we were traveling together, spending sexually-tense nights in hotels and taking unplanned detours.
My ordinary road trip turned into the adventure of a lifetime. It was all fun and games until things got intense.
I wanted him, but Chance wouldn’t make a move. I thought he wanted me too, but something was holding him back.
I wasn’t supposed to fall for the cocky bastard, especially when I knew we’d be going our separate ways.
All good things must come to an end, right?
Except our ending was one I didn’t see coming.
