Side Effects REVIEW~ *****
This was absolutely the best second book to another one I have read yet. I loved it. I fell completely in love with The Vitamin D Treatment when I read it last year. It was by far the best gift goodreads could’ve given me because I fell in love with Jed Carson and the author Julia Bramer is remarkable. So to read Side Effects and get more of Jed and Olivia’s story was beautiful. I have never loved characters the way I do these. Side Effects had me as soon as I started until the very last page. I never wanted to put it down.
Olivia was still the most caring girl and her character evolved in this book. She went from not only being sweet, loving, motherly to her brother, and protective of all of those around her, but she became strong. She was stronger in this book. She stood up to everyone who was trying to get her to leave Jed. She fought back for him and for all the people she loved and adored.
Jed, Jed, Jed!! Man do I love him. He is perfect. There’s no other book boyfriend out there that could even compare to him in my book. He’s just that amazing. You are drawn to his dominance and roughness. He makes every man and woman aware of his presence. I really enjoyed that in this book I go to see another side of Jed. He became the most caring and sweetest man EVER. He was more loving and more accepting of things in this one. It just made me love him more and more.
I really loved getting to watch Jed and Olivia’s relationship and love evolve in this book. They fought against every person they know to be together and it was beautiful. There was always an obstacle in their way or something happening that slowed down there relationship, but no matter what they came out of it together and stronger than before. I found myself holding my breath through much of the story. The suspense had me on edge. It was the perfect story to a book I adore and had the absolute perfect ending. I couldn’t have asked for better. The story is beautiful, romantic, suspenseful, and sexy.

“You should know, Olivia, I heard everything,” he
murmurs, his voice low and silky.
Olivia glares at him, panic in her eyes. She places the drink on the coffee table and
drops to the sofa, lowering her head and covering her eyes with slender
hands. Can she be any more
miserable? Everything? Shit!
Jed sets the drink on the side table, rises slowly
and moves to the sofa. He sits close and
drapes an arm over the backrest behind her.
He cups her chin and forces her to look at him. “There’s nothing to be ashamed of, Olivia,”
he says softly, cocking his head to the side and smiling a knowing smile.
“I’m not,” she breathes, feeling that delicious
pull, her belly muscles tightening.
“Good. So
have you ever had an orgasm?”
Olivia blinks.
Jeez. She can’t believe
he’s asking–mentioning–saying it out loud.
She wants to be offended by the extremely inappropriate question, but
she can’t muster the emotion. Her brain

to rub a finger over his lower lip, his brows furrowing.
“You don’t want me?” she squeaks, her heart in her
throat.
Olivia’s sweet innocence tugs at his heart and he
nervously rakes a hand through his hair.

“I
want you, Olivia. But I can’t promise
you anything,” he sighs.
“Can you promise me an orgasm?” she baits, her voice
