Blog Tour Stop~ Review~ What's Left of Me by Amanda Maxlyn *****

Life works in mysterious ways.

Four years ago I became known as the girl with cancer.

I refuse to cry.

And I refuse to give in.

A relationship with a man is the last thing I’m looking for right now, but one night with Parker changes everything. He is persistent, and he knows what he wants. Me.

He doesn’t treat me like I’m fragile.

But he doesn’t know, and I’m not ready to tell him.

What if it changes everything?
Tragedy found me when I was seventeen.
Love found me when I was twenty-one.

My name is Aundrea McCall, and this is my journey.

~REVIEW~ *****

This was one of the most beautiful and heart touching books I’ve read this year. It definitely showed me that there are a lot of things that people go through and they have no control over it and we shouldn’t take things for granted. My heart broke so many times while reading this wonderful book. I absolutely love it and have to say it’s become one of my favorites. I love when a book can touch my heart and soul with how special it was and this story was special. It was just beautiful.

Aundrea was such a beautiful girl with such an amazingly big heart and even more beautiful soul. My heart broke so many times for her. She went through so much at such a young age. Dealing with what she dealt with wasn’t easy. It was hard for me to read, it hurt me so bad for her. So I can only imagine what it was like for her or for anyone who has been in her situation. Even though she had so many bumps in her life she still held her head high and kept going, she tried so hard to be strong. I loved that about her. She had such strength and had an amazing support system in her loving family.

Parker, well now there is a man that I absolutely LOVE and adore. I was instantly in love with him. He never once backed down from what he wanted. He knew that he and Aundrea shared something that could be amazing. Parker was such a beautiful man. He was good looking, sweet, caring and had one of the biggest hearts ever. He was absolutely amazing and you can’t help but fall in love with him. He was always pushing Aundrea to not be afraid and to take a chance on them. I was so glad he never let her go or let her give up on them.

Aundrea and Parkers relationship was so sweet and unbelievable. It was perfect. I loved reading about them. How they fell in love with one another over there time together. How they made one another feel special and wanted. I couldn’t get enough of this book; I never wanted to stop reading it. It was so beautiful. I know I keep saying that but it was, I cried a lot and felt everything they felt. I loved that they gave each other strength especially once Parker discovers what Aundrea is going through. He doesn’t run or look at her any differently. In fact, he makes her see that he will always be there for her and never leave her side no matter what.
The ending absolutely done me in. I don’t think I’ve felt so broken or cried so much. So make sure you have tissues around when you read this one.
