Bewitched by Christmas by S.R. Mitchell *Randi's Review*

Bewitched by Christmas♡*`°•
By Author S.R. Mitchell

Love was always just out of reach for Allie. The fact that she has to hide a part of herself, her magical side, does not help.
She'd accepted the fact that maybe she would not find Mister Right, but her witchy Aunt Margret has not given up hope.
Little does she know; her Aunt has cast a spell for her soul mate to find his way to her. He's everything she finds attractive in a man and she's everything he thinks unattainable in a woman.
There is just one catch... someone is after him. Someone wants him dead and Allie finds herself thrown in the mix.
Will they find love for Christmas?

*****

Bewitched By Christmas by S.R.Mitchell was a great book. I got the chance to read it in exchange for an honest review and thankfully I jumped at the chance.

This story is about a young witch named Allie, and the young man she meets named Brock.

Without her knowledge, Allie's aunt and her friend cast a spell to help Allie find her soulmate. When Brock gets in an accident in front of Allies house right before a bog snow storm hits, it seems like the spell worked, but can Allie get past old trust issues and let him in on the truth about her powers, or is the idea of a soulmate too good to be true?

This was a quick and fun read. Even though there was a fair amount of drama in this story the characters made it seem like everything was going to be ok just because they willed it to be so.

Through all the drama and the suspense, there's the running theme of Christmas. From the lights decorating every surface, to the Christmas themed leggings Allie loved to wearing, and as someone who loves loves loves Christmas herself, I found this charming. It made the story seem a little more real and relatable for me.

Now I don't really read a lot about witches, so I'm not claiming to be an expert by any means, but as someone who just loves to read books, this one was pretty great.
On one hand the whole concept of these two meeting and falling for each other seemed a little fast, but on the other hand you have to remember that they're supposed to be soul mates so what's to stop them from falling fast and hard? One of the things that I loved about this book was the way it reminded me of the old movie Practical Magic. I've always loved that movie so to find a book that was just as entertaining, if not more so, was a great find. I'm very happy I got to read this book and I look forward to reading more from this author.

I give this book 5 out of 5 stars.
