Mack Daddy by Peneope Ward is writing at it's best. This book will have you consumed and clinging onto every word, every sentence, and every page. I never wanted it to end. Penelope's writing is always exceptional and it was no different with this book. 

Mack Daddy is a second chance romance that will leave you breathless, overwhelmed, and your heart so full that you feel like it might burst out of your chest. The story was breathtaking, like an intake of fresh air. 

Oh Mack! What can I say, but that I knew as soon as I read the blurb for this book, I was going to fall hard and that I did. Penelope gave me a character I would openly obsess over. Mack is phenomenal. The man is going to own the hearts of book nerds EVERYWHERE. I loved how passionate and loving he was with his son. I mean my heart was wild with admiration. Then his connection to Frankie is out of this world. The way they meet, their past and present will all captivate you and leave you with the best feeling.
