The Year Of Falling In Love by Jessica Sorensen *Verna's Review*

Release Date: January 6, 2016
The Year of Falling in Love

Synopsis

Isabella Anders just found out Lynn and her dad want to send her to a reform school. But with the help of Grandma Stephy, Isa’s dad agrees to let her move in with her grandma.
Isa is more than relieved to be moving out. And after going on an unofficial date with Kyler, she wonders if maybe her life is starting to turn around. But then she discovers the truth about what really happened to her mother.
Not ready to fully accept that her mother is a murderer, Isa turns to Kai for help. Kai is more than willing to help, but to protect Isa, he keeps some of the more brutal details about her mother’s case to himself until he can find out more.
But when a mysterious blue car starts showing up everywhere, and Isa receives a threatening text message from an unknown caller, Kai realizes someone is dead set on destroying Isa. And he might not be able to protect her.

*****
Sigh!! The Year of Falling in Love will have you putty in Jessica Sorensen’s hands. Kai and Isa’s story is just delightful. I couldn’t wait to continue their story and boy was I right to be so excited.

As soon as the story begins I was pulled back in and all the emotions I had at the end of the last book came crashing down on me. I love and I mean love a series that in each book my emotions are taken to new heights and I never forget the feeling. This is one of those books and series that will do that to you. It hooks you and keeps your enthusiasm intact.

Isa is such an amazing character. Even though she has so many things going wrong at once she never lets that make her give up. Her character is so strong and Kai makes her even stronger. I was so touched by everything he did to make sure Isa was okay. He never ceased to amaze me, he was beyond remarkable. You will find yourself learning more about Kai in this book and falling completely in love with him. Their love and pull to one another is breathtaking.

Everything she endures in this second book will have you on the edge of your seat and leave you in complete shock. When the story ends I was beyond blown away and curious. I cannot wait for the next book in the series.

If you are a person that loves a good story with romance, first love, and suspense thrown into the mix this is the book for you. But don’t forget to read the first book or you’ll miss something.

I give The Year of Falling in Love by Jessica Sorensen Five out of Five Sensational Stars.
