Maya Banks books are always a pleasure to read and Mastered is no different. I was instantly drawn into Evangeline and Drake’s story, it was captivating. I honestly never wanted it to end and when it did I found my heart in my stomach and was beyond frustrated. I absolutely can’t stress enough how badly I need the second book.
Evangeline is just a wonderful and sweet person. I loved that about her. When the story begins you can’t help but want to smack her because of the way she thinks of herself. She doesn’t have very much self confidence at all. That is until she meets Drake. I love how he helps to build her up and make her believe in herself. She finally starts taking a stand and claiming what she wants, never letting anyone tell her she’s wrong. She just takes a leap of faith and it’s one to remember, one that will blow your mind and leave you breathless.
Then there is Drake. Drake Donovan who will have you begging for more. He is strong, dominant, fierce, and behind all that intimidation is a heart so big, all you want to do is capture it. His and Evangeline’s chemistry is beyond the word hot. You will get your feel of love, romance, sexiness, and overall a brilliant story that leaves the reader at a loss for words and wanting to know every single one of the Enforcers in Drakes circle. They will all have you mesmerized.
