Julia Bramer has done it again. She has given me an amazing book to add to my favorite list. I never thought that I could adore a character as much as I did her first, Jed, but she has blown me away with the character Mikel. So get ready for this hot, risqué, and steamy read. I highly recommend you read this book if you enjoy a sensuous read because Julia leaves nothing to the imagination.
Haley is a remarkable young woman. I couldn’t help but look up to her because she was so determined to follow her dreams and wasn’t afraid to face danger head on. As soon as you start reading you are intrigued by her bluntness at what she wants. It will blow you away because she isn’t afraid to take the steps she needs to to get what she wants. Her sexuality is exciting and will leave you reeling. Even though she is a strong person, you will also learn that she is vulnerable and fighting against a past love that left her this broken shell. I felt so bad for her because she couldn’t see just how broken she is.
There are so many men in this book that you will be introduced to; I was so crazy about each of them. They are all amazing. They each loved Haley in their own way and looked out for her. They encouraged her to follower her dreams and protected her to no avail. The thing that drove me the craziest was that Haley didn’t see any of this. Each of these men is remarkable and she was so lucky to have crossed paths with all of them. Mikel though, he is my favorite. I fell in love with him from the first moment Haley meets him and even though there were times I wanted to smack some sense into him I still adored him. He is a strong and remarkable man.
Let me say that even though there are some steamy hot moments in this book there is also some major excitement and thrilling moments that will leave you speechless. What happens to Haley is absolutely crazy and insane. I was holding my breath for her through the whole ordeal that she finds herself in. The Mohammed’s crazy dad is well just that demented. I just hoped and hoped someone would find Haley in time to save her from the madness that had been unleashed on her.
So don’t wait another minute to check this book out. It’s so worth every minute of reading it and there is NEVER a dull moment. I was captivated by page one and didn’t want to put it down till the end.
