*Review* Under The Northern Lights by S.C. Stephens

From the number one New York Times bestselling author of the Thoughtless series comes a sweet, thoughtful romance set high in the Alaskan wilderness.
Mallory Reynolds is a driven woman fueled by her passion for photographing wild animals in remote locations. Every year she makes a trek deep into Alaska, but this time the unthinkable happens: she crash-lands after her plane stalls out in a storm. Injured, vulnerable, and threatened by the very creatures she loves, Mallory fears the worst—until she’s rescued by Michael Bradley, a mysterious mountain man living in self-imposed exile.
Mallory is grateful for Michael’s help but desperate to return home to let her family know she’s alive. Unfortunately, neither of them can leave Michael’s secluded cabin until spring. Mallory’s stuck with a stranger for months.
As Mallory recovers, a deep bond begins to form between the pair. Mallory is convinced that fate brought them together, but Michael is buried in his past, unable to move forward. Undaunted, Mallory tends to Michael’s heart as tenderly as he cared for her wounds—but will her love be enough to heal him?

Stephens is one of my all time favorite authors and this is why! This book is stunning and alluringly mysterious.

When the book begins, you'll be on the edge of your seat the whole time! I sure was. I was so anxious because Mallory has something awful happen to her and it had me so tense. I was so scared for her, it was like I was in the plane with her. Mallory's character is such a breathe of fresh air. I loved how caring, loving, and just all in all wonderful she was. Her faith and hope will touch every part of your being. When Michael comes into her life, it's when they need someone the most. They help each other and take care of one another and it's so touching. Everything they endure is heart stopping and leaves you praying right along with Mallory. You feel every ounce of love these characters feel. Michael's character is going to own the hearts of women everywhere. I mean I can not put into words how much I loved him, he outshines all others. You'll feel so many things for him, his sweetness and sincerity and warmth will overcome you. So prepare for an amazing story like no other that will forever be implanted into your reading soul.
