Cruel Fortune by K.A. Linde is going to leave you shell-shocked and at a complete loss of words. I'm still not sure how I feel about everything. It's like she knows how to hook you, how to put you through emotional turmoil and make you love it even if it kills you. K.A. Linde is a master of her craft and the Queen of Angst. This book had me on edge through the whole thing and that ending, just WOW! Prepare yourselves for lots of drama, crazy dilemmas and an ending you won't see coming, an ending that leaves you begging for the next book.
What can I possibly say, but the plot thickens. In Cruel Fortune, you're going to dive back into Natalie and the crews world and it is a masterpiece. I have never been this blown away by a book, the series just gets better and better. It's by far my favorite book this year. When I was half way through the book, my emotions were everywhere. I wanted Natalie to be happy, but I wasn't sure she was doing it with the right person. I mean you have Lewis and then you have Penn. I loved them both so good, but it was like my heart was being pulled so many different ways. It was insane. Then the more I read and the deeper I went, the more I felt like throwing my kindle. I love how this book had me on the edge of my seat and left me completely breathless all at the same time. Well done Kyla, well done!
So if you love this series as much as me, you're going to be in awe of this one. Cruel Fortune was everything I imagined, everything I didn't imagine and so much more. I give Cruel Fortune by K.A. Linde 5 out of 5 FIERCE STARS.
